Sports & Sponsorships
Celsius · MLS All-Star Fan Fest
Celsius, one of the leading active lifestyle beverage brands in the US, turned to Rooted to own its space at the MLS All-Star Fan Fest in Austin. We designed and built an open-air activation that read from across the park and held its energy from the afternoon crowd straight through a packed sunset. The goals:

Celsius · MLS Cup
For Celsius at MLS Cup, Rooted built a premium black activation anchored by an all-club ball wall and the Official Energy Drink Partner lockup, then brought it to life with sampling, athletic moments, and a footprint that pulled match-day fans in from the cold. The goals:
AdventHealth · Corporate 5K
For the AdventHealth Corporate 5K, Rooted designed and built a branded event footprint that welcomed the running crowd, created hands-on wellness moments, and kept the energy high from the start line to the finish. The goals:
Festivals & Fan Fests
Sea-Doo · Social Club
For the Sea-Doo Social Club Legendary Meetup, Rooted designed a full branded beach footprint, ran on-water demos and games, and turned a day on the sand into a community moment owners actually wanted to be photographed in. The goals:
Stoop Dayz · Hard Soda
For Stoop Dayz Hard Soda, Rooted built loud, ownable activations that pulled crowds across both a city festival and a Bengals game day. Branded structures, sampling moments, and games kept guests in the brand world long enough to remember a new soda. The goals:
BodyArmor + Powerade · Kroger Wellness Festival
At the Kroger Wellness Festival in downtown Cincinnati, Rooted designed and ran a dual-brand footprint for BodyArmor and Powerade across two days and a crowd that runs close to 40,000. Two branded tents, dimensional 3D signage, and immersive football and soccer games on an elevated turf lane gave both brands a footprint people walked toward. The goals:
The resultsA two-day festival drawing 38,000 to 40,000 people, with every pallet of product used and zero waste.

It lives on
Real moments from our activations, pulling in millions of views long after the last guest left. We build the experience, then make it travel.
Watch the work
The best activations don't end when the build comes down. We capture them to look as good on a feed as they did in person, then turn one moment into reach, hype, and FOMO that compounds long after teardown.
How we think
Most activations start with "what should we build." We start with one question: what is the single feeling someone should have the second they see it. Then we reverse-engineer everything, the idea, the moment, the flow, back from that feeling. Here is the actual machine we run. Steal any of it.
What is the single feeling we want people to have when they interact with it? Every decision after this serves that one answer. If an idea is cool but does not create the feeling, it is out.
What does this brand actually stand for? What are the three to five pillars we cannot break? Who is this brand for, and just as important, who is it not for? Who is the real human at this event, and what did they come for? The pillars are guardrails. They kill bad ideas fast.
Where are the moments worth filming? We design them on purpose: the hero shot, the reaction, the thing still recognizable with the logo cropped out. Then we make it effortless to capture and impossible not to post. One activation should throw off a dozen reasons to pull out a phone.
This is the part most activations ignore. How does a stranger go from walking past, to stepping in, to playing, to sharing, to leaving with the brand in their hand? We map the whole path: the draw from a distance, the easy first step in, the moment in the middle, the line that builds energy instead of killing it, and the exit that sends them off talking. Movement is the experience.
What is the one thing someone takes with them, a keepsake, a memento, or a memory? The best activations send people off holding something, or feeling something, they did not have when they walked up. Name that one thing before you build anything.
What does this honestly cost? Where do we go big, where do we stay scrappy? What breaks on a live site, in the heat, with a line 30 deep? What has to be true for legal, procurement, and the venue to say yes? Ideas survive or die here.
Who is doing what, when, on site, down to the checklist? And how do we capture the whole thing so one day becomes a month of content? The build comes down. The content keeps working.
And we measure what actually matters: shares, saves, dwell time, and return visits. The signals that someone cared, not just passive reach.
